Home Care Assistant - Jagé Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with Daily Living:

This includes helping patients with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and other basic needs.
Mobility and Transfers:

Assisting patients with moving between beds, wheelchairs, and other areas, and helping with walking and other mobility activities.
Vital Sign Monitoring:

Measuring and recording vital signs like temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
Emotional Support:

Providing companionship, listening to patients’ concerns, and fostering a positive and reassuring environment.
Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment:

Ensuring patient areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Documentation:

Recording observations and care activities accurately and timely in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Communication:

Communicating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about patient needs and changes in condition.
